Little Batty is going on a field trip.  He is going to the doughnut factory to learn how to make doughnuts.  

The factory is 42 kilometres away. 

Batty will take a bus 27 kilometres and then ride a taxi the rest of the way.  

How many more kilometres will he have travel when he gets off the bus and into the taxi?
