A perfect explanation of irony for kids!

We've had lots fun this week talking about the meaning of irony and we're going to continue to more samples of irony.  I found this video last night and shared it with the class this morning. The boys and girls are really catching on to the difference between a funny coincidence and something that is truly ironic.  
I know the kids will enjoy watching this video again...if not only for the last 10 second with grandma on her motorcycle!  

And for the grown-ups, while I don't think this qualifies as irony, it is Friday, and who can resist a Library cop named Mr. Bookman?
